Champions League: Osimhen to be in Galatasaray’s starting XI against Barcelona

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen will be in his side’s starting XI to face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League later this month.

As reported by A Spor (via Sabah Sports), Osimhen will also get playing time, depending on the flow of the game, in the Kasımpaşa match, which will also take place in the coming days.

Galatasaray will face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, October 13, at Rams Park.

Before the Barcelona match, Galatasaray will take on Kasımpaşa in a Turkish Super Lig clash on October 9.

Osimhen has missed Galatasaray’s last few matches against Sporting Lisbon, Kocaelispor and Trabzonspor due to injury.

The Nigerian international sustained a groin injury during Galatasaray’s win against Başakşehir last month.

As a result, Osimhen did not feature for the Super Eagles against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau during the international break.
