Predicts Tinubu will win presidential election

A cleric, Rev. Michael Fabiyi, has urged Nigerians to pray for a peaceful and successful outcome of the 2027 general elections.
Fabiyi, General Overseer of Celestial Church of Christ Cathedral, Lagos, also predicted that President Bola Tinubu would win the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking in Lagos, the cleric said Nigeria would benefit from Tinubu’s re-election, urging politicians across party lines to work together for the development of the country.
According to him, the 2027 general election would be peaceful and successful, with no bloodshed or major crisis.
“The 2027 election in Nigeria will be very successful. In fact, it will be one of the best elections in the country. I did not see any bad occurrence ahead of the election. There won’t be any bloodshed in Nigeria,” he said.
Fabiyi said a second term for Tinubu would, in his view, lead to further progress and strengthen Nigeria’s relationship with the international community.
“If he wins for the second time, Nigeria will be better for it. The country will move forward and the international community will be more willing to do business with Nigeria as the country will return to the good old days.
“Tinubu is a man of God. In fact, I see him as the chosen one,” he said.
The cleric also commended Tinubu for what he described as a successful governorship election in Osun State, where Governor Ademola Adeleke was re-elected.
Fabiyi, however, said his prediction of Tinubu’s victory was subject to the President being alive and contesting the election.
“Tinubu will win again if he does not die before the election, although I did not see anything happening to him,” he said.
He further claimed that he foresaw a military coup attempt during Tinubu’s second term but said it would fail.
“I see the military staging a coup in his second term in office, but it will not succeed as I have already prayed against it,” he said.
Fabiyi urged Tinubu to draw closer to God and remain prayerful.
On the proliferation of churches in Nigeria, the cleric said the development was beneficial, urging Christian leaders to unite in prayer for the country and the success of the 2027 general elections.
“We should worship God diligently and show mercy to people,” he said.
