Danny S to unveil new album ‘Merci’ at exclusive listening party in Lagos

Nigerian street-pop star Danny S will host the official listening party for his forthcoming album, Merci, on Friday, July 25, at Club Foxy, ShopRite Mall, Ikeja, Lagos.

The event begins with a red carpet reception at 8:00 p.m., followed by the main event at 10:00 p.m., where fans, media, music executives, and industry stakeholders will get an exclusive first listen to the 12-track album.

Merci showcases Danny S’s artistic growth and gratitude through tracks including Heavenly, Owo Re Lowa, That 1 Sef Dey featuring Magnito, Aya, Jo, Namilowo, Ogo, Halley, Coming Home, Loading, Alhamdulillah, and Ta Ta Ta.

Production credits include Eyor (Tracks 1, 2 & 12), Shocker Beats (Tracks 3, 4 & 6), Booster (Tracks 5, 7, 9, 10 & 11), and Solshyne Beatz (Track 8).

Powered by Chaolin Temple in partnership with Club Foxy, the event promises an evening of music, networking, and entertainment. It will be hosted by Hadvantage, with special appearances from Kemity and Jigan Baba Oja.

The project is managed by Olaitan Salaudeen (A&R), with publicity led by Wemimo Folorunsho and Quareebah Yahaya. Remi Olorunfunmi (Danny S Manager), Jabulani and Paparazzi (Road Managers), Balo (Personal Assistant), and DJ Finetune (official DJ).

Described as a heartfelt expression of gratitude, perseverance, and personal growth, Merci marks a new chapter in Danny S’s career while staying true to his signature street-pop sound. The listening party is set to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans and industry stakeholders alike.
