Edo Security Corps arrest 10 suspects for alleged theft, armed robbery, fraud

Operatives of the Edo State Security Corps, ESSC, have arrested more than 10 suspects connection with various criminal activities in the state.

DAILY POST reports that the suspects were said to have been arrested last weekend.

The Deputy Commander of the security outfit in charge of operations, Richard Balogun, who disclosed this to newsmen in Benin City, said the offences for which the suspects were arrested includes theft, armed robbery and fraud.

He added that the suspects were arrested following intelligence reports and have confessed to their involvement in the crimes.

According to him, the suspects have been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.

He stressed that the security corps has zero tolerance for criminal activities.
