Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

Semi Ajayi has reacted to Hull City’s stunning victory over Manchester United in Saturday’s Premier League clash.

The Tigers defeated Michael Carrick’s side 2-0 at the MKM Stadium.

Ajayi gave the home team the lead in the 17th minute.

The Nigeria international slotted the ball home after Senne Lammens had denied Oli McBurnie from a corner.

The goal was Hull City’s first in the Premier League in nine years.

Nobel Mendy netted Hull City’s second of the game seven minutes before the break.

Ajayi was delighted with with the outcome of the keenly contested encounter.

“It was amazing. It kind of capped off the really good start that we had. We had a couple of chances before that which we didn’t manage to put away, but obviously that one got us into the lead, and also gave us something to protect, but also build on,” Ajayi told TNT Sports.
