EPL: Joe Cole tells Chelsea three players to sign, best manager to coach club

Daily Post 4 days 1 mins read

Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole, has handed his old club names of three players, John Stones, Jordan Henderson and Robert Lewandowski, as players to sign when the summer transfer window starts.

Cole also urged the Blues to consider bringing back their former manager, Jose Mourinho, to coach the club.

“The best move the club could make now, a realistic move as well, is to go to Jose Mourinho,” Cole told The Sun.

“Say that this is what we can do, and just let the man take charge of the club. Just say, “Rebuild my club for me, we are going to step back, and you get us back on track.”

“Give him a long contract, and tell the players and the fans just to take the transition,” he said.

He added, “So you are looking at who is available, I’m thinking players like John Stones. Lewandowski, he’s coming to the end of his contract, we need a centre forward. Jordan Henderson, I said Jordan Henderson last season and people laughed.”
