EPL: Why Arsenal will win title ahead of Man City – Liverpool manager Slot

Daily Post about 24 hours 1 mins read

Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, has given a reason why Arsenal will win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City.

Slot spoke at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa, Friday.

Arsenal sit two points ahead of Man City at the top of the Premier League table with two matches remaining to conclude the season.

However, Slot believes Arsenal will win the league because of how they defend really well against opponents.

“The team that is going to win the league, at least I assume, I think Arsenal is going to win the league,” Slot said.

“Arsenal is a team that has large spells in a game where they have to defend in a low block, and they do that really well. By the way, that’s also one of the reasons why they will go on to win the league.”
