Feminist Icon Gloria Steinem Dies At 92

American journalist and feminist icon Gloria Steinem has died, her foundation said in a statement on Thursday. She was 92.

“Yesterday, Gloria Steinem passed away peacefully at her home in New York City, surrounded by some of the many who loved her,” Gloria’s Foundation said in a statement posted on Instagram, without specifying the cause of death.
