The Gambia Football Federation’s Electoral Committee announces that, after nominations for the August 29, 2026 Elections closed, it has received nominations for 22 individuals proposed for various Executive Committee positions.
The Committee carried out a comprehensive review of the nominations per the Electoral Code, the GFF Constitution, and the FIFA Code of Ethics. After detailed screening during its meeting on Friday, 31st July, 2026, the Electoral Committee is pleased to publish the provisional list of nominated candidates, as specified in Article 12.3 of the Electoral Code.

Meanwhile, the one nomination, that of Lamin Camara for the position of a Retired Referee in the Executive Committee has been rejected. The reasons for the rejection of the nomination have been communicated to the member who nominated him for the said position.
