Mr Goro served as a federal lawmaker from 2011 to 2023, initially under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) before defecting to the APC. His tenure came to an end when he lost his seat to Muhammad Bello of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
