Former West Ham goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko dies at 64

Former West Ham goalkeeper, Ludek Miklosko, has died at the age of 64.

West Ham announced the sad news in a post on X on Monday morning.

Miklosko, who died following a battle with cancer, made almost 400 appearances for West Ham between 1990 and 1998.

The Czech announced his decision to withdraw from further cancer treatment in 2024, three years after his diagnosis.

The former goalkeeper, who joined West Ham from Banik Ostrava, helped the club win promotion to the English top flight in 1991 and 1993.
