Galatasaray have reportedly turned down an approach from Arsenal for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen after senior officials from the Premier League club travelled to Istanbul in an attempt to negotiate a deal.
According to Turkish journalist Ömer Faruk Özcan, via Nexus Sports, Arsenal officials met with Galatasaray representatives to discuss the possibility of signing the Super Eagles forward.
Rather than submitting a straight cash offer, Arsenal are said to have proposed a swap deal that included Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres plus an additional €30 million.
However, the Turkish champions reportedly rejected the proposal, opting against parting ways with their star forward.
Osimhen has been heavily linked with several top European clubs following his impressive performances, but Galatasaray appear determined to keep hold of the Nigerian international despite growing interest.
