Ghanaian Pilgrim Dies During Tawaf Ritual in Mecca

The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has announced the passing of a Ghanaian prospective pilgrim, Musah Sidi, 53, who died while performing the Tawaf ritual at the Haram in Mecca. According to PAOG, the pilgrim collapsed during the circumambulation of the Kaaba mdash; a central rite of Hajj involving walking around the sacred structure mdash; and passed away shortly afterwards.
