He directed the Head of Civil Service to implement the directive promptly, reaffirming his commitment to the welfare of citizens and the state’s ongoing development under his leadership.

While highlighting his administration’s recent acquisition of 20 CNG buses, the governor commended the union for its partnership and collaboration with his administration and urged continued support for the state’s development initiatives, particularly in promoting tourism.

In his response, the NUJ Chairman, Nsibiet John, expressed gratitude for the governor’s support and highlighted his administration’s achievements, such as revitalizing the union’s Press Centre and appointing journalists to key roles.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including the Deputy Governor, the Secretary to the State Government, the Head of Civil Service, and commissioners.
