The Federal Government has released the 2026/2027 admission list for candidates offered admission into Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) in Federal Unity Colleges across Nigeria.
The admission release, approved by the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, marks the beginning of the admission process for successful candidates seeking placement in the nation’s Federal Unity Colleges for the new academic session.
The Federal Ministry of Education announced the development in a statement issued by its Director of Press and Public Relations, Boriowo Folasade.
According to the ministry, the release is part of the government’s efforts to ensure a transparent and accessible admission process for candidates seeking admission into the unity schools.
How to check 2026/2027 Unity Schools admission list
Parents and guardians can check the admission status of their children and wards through the Federal Ministry of Education’s designated admission portal.
To check the admission status, candidates should:
- Visit the FME Posting Portal at https://fmeposting.com.ng/auth/login.
- Log in using the required details.
- Check the candidate’s admission status.
- If offered admission, download and print the admission slip.
- Proceed to the Federal Unity College stated on the admission slip for confirmation and completion of the required admission formalities.
Parents and guardians can also check the admission status through the notice board of the relevant Federal Unity College.
