The Jaipur-based Rajasthan United Football Club have strengthened their midfield ahead of the 2026–27 season with the signing of Gambian attacking midfielder Foday Trawally.

The 25-year-old midfielder arrives in Rajasthan with experience across European football, having represented clubs in Estonia, Denmark, Cyprus, Turkey and North Macedonia. Trawally is a right-footed attacking midfielder who can also operate in central midfield and on the right wing.

Trawally began his European journey with Vejle BK U19 in Denmark after coming through Fortune FC in The Gambia. He subsequently moved to Estonia, where he represented Paide Linnameeskond and JK Tallinna Kalev, before spells with Çetinkaya TSK in Cyprus, Brera Strumica in North Macedonia and Bashkimi.

His profile also includes international experience with The Gambia, with recording of two senior international appearances and one goal.

Trawally’s time in Estonia was a particularly notable stage of his career. His move to Bashkimi described him as having previously been named MVP of the Estonian championship, while highlighting his attacking qualities and European experience.

Speaking on the signing, Rajasthan United FC chairperson, KK Tak said, “Foday is a player who brings a different dimension to our midfield. He has played football in different countries and has experienced different styles and demands of the game. We believe his creativity, attacking mentality and experience can add something important to our squad. We are looking forward to working with him and helping him settle into the team and Rajasthan.”

Speaking after completing his move to Rajasthan United FC, Foday Trawally said:

“I am very happy to join Rajasthan United FC and begin this new chapter of my career in India. I have heard a lot about the club and I am excited to experience the passion of the fans and the city.”

“I am here to work hard, learn, compete and give everything for the team. My goal is to contribute with my football, help the team achieve its ambitions and make the Rajasthan United supporters proud. I cannot wait to get started.”

With the arrival of Trawally, Rajasthan United FC continue to build their squad for the 2026–27 season, adding international experience and attacking quality to their midfield.
