The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released the list of confirmed candidates for the 2027 National Assembly election in Kwara State.
Confirmed candidates for the three Senatorial Districts of the state include Senator Saliu Mustapha for Kwara Central, Saheed Popoola, Kwara South, and Kolo Baba Jiya, Kwara North.
Names of candidates for the House of Representatives are Prof. Fatai Ayinde Aremu, Asa/ Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Saka Yusuf Eletu, Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, and Mashood Bakare, Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency.
Also confirmed by the electoral body for the House of Representatives election are Gbenga Joseph Obanla, Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Shaaba Usman Kawu, Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, and Ahmed Abubakar Sadiq, Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency.
