Baseline Study Consultant
CSIF II Consortium-Wide Baseline Study
Initiative Africa (IA), together with its consortium partners, invites applications from qualified individual consultants to design, coordinate, analyze and report a consortium-wide baseline study for the project “Advancing Social Cohesion through Indigenous Civic Space in Ethiopia,” funded by the Civil Society Innovation Fund II (CSIF II).
Scope: The assignment covers 10 implementation locations across six regions of Ethiopia, focusing on social cohesion, trust, belonging, participation and community institutions.
Level of Effort: Approximately 20 working days.
Required Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, MEAL, Development Studies, Peace/Conflict Studies or a related field
• Demonstrated experience designing baseline studies for donor-funded programs
• Experience with KoboToolbox or similar digital data collection platforms
• Experience in conflict-sensitive or politically sensitive research
• Familiarity with the Ethiopian context
