‘Injury to one injury to all’ – NDC condemns court order deregistering ADC, others

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has condemned the order of the Federal High Court in Abuja deregistering the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and other opposition political parties.

In a statement on Monday, the party called on every Nigerian to stand up in solidarity and condemn the court order.

According to the party, an injury to one is an injury to all.

Recall that Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to immediately deregister the ADC, Accord Party and others from participating in the 2027 general elections.

Reacting, the NDC said “The court order must be condemned by all and sundry. An injury to one is an injury to all.

“We stand in solidarity with these opposition parties and call on every Nigerian to resist the attempt by the rudderless APC to drift our nation into a one-party state.
