Professor Aribisala made the call on Tuesday when he led the management team of the institution on a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Command, CP Falade Adegoroye Michael, at the Command Headquarters in Ado-Ekiti.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday, the visit was aimed at strengthening the cordial relationship between the university and the police and enhancing security for lives, property, students and staff of the institution.

Speaking during the visit, Professor Aribisala commended the Commissioner of Police and his officers for their commitment to maintaining peace and security around the university community.

He noted that a secure learning environment is critical to academic excellence and assured the police of the university’s continuous cooperation in promoting peace, law and order.

In his remarks, CP Falade Adegoroye Michael thanked the Vice-Chancellor and his team for the visit and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to partnering with the university to safeguard lives and property.
