Kwa mujibu wa mwongozo wa uandaaji na ufundishaji wa mitalaa kwa shahada za ualimu uliotolewa na tume hiyo Februari 2024, shahada za ualimu zinazopewa uzito katika vyuo vikuu kwa sasa ni Shahada ya Sayansi na Elimu na Shahada ya Sanaa na Ualimu.
