Katsina Hisbah commander-general resigns

Dr Aminu Usman (Abu Ammar), Commander-General of the Katsina State Hisbah Board, has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.

Usman announced his resignation in a letter dated Oct. 5, and addressed to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Governor’s Office, State Secretariat Complex, Katsina.

The commander-general did not state any reason for his resignation.

He, however, expressed profound gratitude to Gov. Dikko Radda for the confidence, trust, opportunity and support accorded him during his tenure.

“It has been a great honour and privilege to serve the good people of Katsina State under your administration,” he said.

Usman said he remained deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute his quota to the development, peace, security and moral well-being of the state.

He also appreciated Radda’s leadership, guidance and support throughout his service.

The former commander-general prayed for God’s continued guidance and blessings for the governor, as well as wisdom and good health to enable him to continue to serve the state.

He further prayed for continued peace, development and prosperity for Katsina State and its people.

“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest respect and profound gratitude,” Usman stated.
