Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has named Dean Huijsen as the player who eats the most food at the club.
The England midfielder was discussing the unique characteristics of his teammates at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bellingham, 23, attended the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, just a day after he played and scored in Madrid’s 4-1 league victory against Rayo Vallecano. While at the Madrid circuit, he shared amusing observations about his teammates.
He picked Vinicius as the funniest member of the team and selected Thibaut Courtois and Antonio Rudiger as the most intelligent players. When asked about who is the hungriest in the squad, Bellingham responded: “Dean Huijsen, he eats like 3 people.”
Huijsen and Bellingham have been pivotal players in Jose Mourinho’s squad this season. Huijsen, who joined from Bournemouth last summer, played every minute of Real Madrid’s first five matches of the season, before their last game against Rayo Vallecano where he was an unused substitute.
Bellingham has made a strong start under the Portuguese coach, recording three goals and three assists in six matches. In the same interview, he also described himself as the angriest, most emotional, and most intense player at Real Madrid.
