LaLiga: He’s humble – Diego Godin names Real Madrid player he’d sign for Atletico

Atletico Madrid legend, Diego Godin, has named Fede Valverde as the player he would sign from Real Madrid if given the opportunity.

Godin described the Uruguayan midfielder as a humble player, adding that he can play in all positions on the pitch.

“Which Real Madrid player would I sign for Atletico? Fede Valverde,” Godin told DAZN (via Madrid Universal).

“He can play all positions on the pitch, and is also a humble guy. He has a lot of Atleti DNA.”

Valverde joined Real Madrid from Peñarol back in 2016.

He has won both LaLiga and Champions League trophies with the Los Blancos.
