Andy Appiah Kubi, lawyer for the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, is reported to have filed an application seeking to withdraw from a criminal case involving alleged illegal mining activities at Samreboi in the Western Region.
