Pro-Tinubu group, LikeMinds Volunteers for Tinubu, has said it is targeting 2.5 million voters for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The group said it intends to achieve this through its One-of-Ten Strategy, under which every verified volunteer is expected to mobilise 10 additional voters.

The group disclosed this while officially unveiling its logo and launching its voter verification and volunteer registration app, designed to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and identify genuine supporters, at an event held at the Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.

The app was officially launched by the APC National Youth Leader, Dr Dayo Israel, who commended the organisers and technical team for developing what he described as a unique, seamless and credible mechanism for identifying and mobilising genuine supporters.

Speaking at the event, Israel said: “It is time for us to penetrate the grassroots irrespective of our party’s popularity. We must work closely to communicate the good work of the President to the people. We are the tools needed for the assignment.”

He also described the LikeMinds app as a genuine, real-time platform capable of monitoring grassroots mobilisation and providing useful data for understanding electoral trends.

Meanwhile, the group’s National Coordinator, Adekunle Akinlade, popularly known as Triple-A, said the organisation would use its growing network to communicate the administration’s achievements directly to communities, wards and local government areas across Nigeria.

He added that the movement was ready to collaborate with relevant stakeholders, APC structures and other genuine support groups committed to President Tinubu’s re-election.

Also speaking at the event, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Dr Yetunde Adeniji, hailed Tinubu’s continuity agenda and commended the efforts of LikeMinds Volunteers for Tinubu in supporting grassroots mobilisation.

She applauded the initiative for creating a structured platform capable of connecting with citizens at the grassroots and encouraging greater awareness of the administration’s programmes and achievements.

The Director General of LikeMinds Volunteers for Tinubu, Temidayo Babalola, said the organisation was determined to establish a credible, accountable and technology-driven grassroots mobilisation structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Babalola said the movement’s strength would not be measured by physical crowds alone, but by identifiable volunteers, genuine voter verification, geographical accountability and measurable grassroots engagement.

According to Babalola, the app provides LikeMinds Volunteers for Tinubu with a structured mechanism to identify and coordinate genuine supporters while providing real-time visibility into its grassroots network. He added that the documentary presented at the launch demonstrated the organisation’s 45-day proof of concept and highlighted key achievements and interventions of the Tinubu administration in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, economic reforms and social development.

The 2.5 million-voter target represents the organisation’s commitment to building a nationwide, verifiable grassroots network capable of contributing significant electoral support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

During the app’s testing phase, however, LikeMinds Volunteers for Tinubu recorded more than 160,000 genuine and verified voters across its growing grassroots network.
