My wife knew I dated actresses, yet didn’t fight them – Yinka Quadri

Yoruba actor Yinka Quadri has revealed how his wife, Sadiat, treated female colleagues he was romantically involved with, saying she remained on cordial terms with them despite knowing about his relationships.

The veteran actor disclosed this in an interview with African A List on YouTube, where he recounted how some actresses would approach his wife to discuss his romantic affairs with other women in the movie industry.

The actor met Sadiat in 1985 and they got married in 1989. They have children and grandchildren.

According to Quadri, his wife knew about his relationships with some of the same actresses who sometimes gossiped about him, but she never confronted them.

“At some point, some female colleagues in the industry will approach my wife to gossip that I’m dating other actresses, even though I’m also dating some of the very actresses who gossip about me. My wife knows about it and doesn’t fight with them,” he said.

Quadri also disclosed that Sadiat would accommodate and care for some of the actresses when they visited their home after late-night movie productions, despite knowing about their relationships with him.

“Sometimes, when we finish production late and some of them come to sleep at my house, my wife feeds and takes care of them despite knowing that I’m dating them,” he said.

The full interview will go live at 5 pm on Saturday.
