There are 77 votes in the voter register to be cast by 77 delegates coming from three categories; regional football associations; clubs, and allied associations. Each of the seven regions has 4 votes, making a total of 28 votes; five allied associations each with 3 votes, making a total of 15, and 34 clubs each with 1 vote, making it 34 votes. This gives a cumulative total of 77 votes.
The candidate who scores more than half of the vote wins the election, starting from the position of president right down to other executive positions.
