The American Football for Educational Development (AFEDEV) says its planned maiden Wheelchair American Football exhibition would promote inclusion and leadership.
It noted that the upcoming exhibition which would be hosted on Sept. 10, in Lagos, would herald the sport in Nigeria.
Josiah Orie, Media Coordinator for the AFEDEV disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Friday in Lagos.
According to him, the event will commence by 10:0o a.m. at the Outdoor Basketball Arena, of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), National Stadium, Lagos.
The media officer said the exhibition focused at introducing an innovative adaptive sport that would also promote equal opportunity and community participation for persons with disabilities.
“Government agencies, diplomatic missions, corporate organisations, educational institutions, disability organisations, development partners as well as members of the media are invited to witness this historic occasion.
