Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Abakaliki FC have promoted four players from their feeder team to the senior squad ahead of the new season, DAILY POST reports.

The promoted players are Nwankwo Godwin, Olughu Clement, Emmanuel Bebeto and Nwaji Kingsley.

The quartet made the final list after impressive performances with Abakaliki FC Feeders.

Godwin was recognized as a brilliant defensive midfielder, while Clement earned his place as a center forward.

Bebeto earned promotion to the main team following his outstanding display in the 2025/2026 Nigeria Nationwide League One season, where he kept seven clean sheets in seven matches.

Kingsley also made the cut after a convincing campaign with the feeder’s side.

The players are expected to be unveiled alongside the newly recruited players before the start 2026-27 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.
