NNL set to announce kick-off date for 2026/27 season

The Nigeria National League, NNL, is set to announce the kick-off date for the 2026/27 season.

The decision will be reached at the end of the 2026 NNL Annual General Meeting, AGM.

The AGM is scheduled to hold on Friday, August 21th in Owerri.

The meeting will allow the clubs dialogue on the the roadmap, club licensing regulations and possible review and amendments to the NNL rules.

The 2025-26 season ended in June with Sporting Lagos, Doma United, Inter Lagos and Ranchers Bees gaining promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Sporting Lagos were crowned champions after finishing top at the NNL playoff in Ikenne.
