Nnorom succeeds Elumelu as Group Chairman of UBA

Newly elected Group Chairman, United Bank for Africa (UBA) plc, Emmanuel Nnorom and the Retiring Group Chairman, Tony O Elumelu, during the announcement of the retirement of Mr Elumelu from the Board of Directors of UBA, upon the completion of the 12-year tenure limit and the election of Mr Nnorom, a Non-Executive Director of the Bank, as his successor, effective 21 August 2026, at the UBA House in Lagos on Monday.

Mr Elumelu will retire from the Board of Directors of UBA on 21 August 2026, upon the completion of the 12-year tenure limit prescribed for Non-Executive Directors of Banks by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
