‘Nobody should be judge between Benjamin Kalu, myself’ – Orji Uzor Kalu

Daily Post 3 days 2 mins read

Abia North Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has cautioned members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, against taking the position of a judge in issues concerning him and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu.

Kalu disclosed that only he and the Deputy Speaker can attest to how they started and how they would end, hence nobody should become a judge in their matter.

Addressing a group in a video, the former governor of Abia State also called for unity within the party.

He said: “Let today it be a turning point for all of us, unity must prevail in the party. I don’t want anybody to be a judge between the Deputy Speaker and me.

“We know how we started, and only both of us know how we will end. The president asked me a question about him, I’m saying it openly, I answered in his favour and good.

“The president is alive, and I will tell him in secret what we discussed, so if my brother is running for governor, he is running on his name as my brother.

“Let there be a transparent election; whoever wins, we will support; if you don’t want us to support, we will go to our houses and sit down.”
