The Nollywood community has been thrown into mourning following reports of the death of actress and influencer Nimmy Ferrari, who reportedly passed away after an alleged fibroid surgery.
The heartbreaking incident reportedly occurred just days before Nimmy was set to officially celebrate the completion of her newly built house in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Some of her colleagues took to social media to share the sad news and pay tribute to the actress. One of them revealed on Snapchat that Nimmy had been making preparations for a housewarming ceremony after finally completing her dream home.
Her reported passing has left fans and colleagues deeply saddened, especially as she was said to have worked tirelessly to build a name for herself and was beginning to gain more recognition in the Nigerian movie industry.
One particularly emotional tribute noted the painful twist of fate surrounding her passing. Nimmy had reportedly paid tribute to veteran actor Ogogo following his death, only for her own life to be cut short shortly afterward.
Adding another heartbreaking layer to the story, social media reports claimed that Nimmy Ferrari was laid to rest in the same newly completed house where she had reportedly planned to host her housewarming celebration.
