NPFL: Barau FC captain Maidubji returns to training after injury layoff

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Barau FC have received a major boost with captain Usman Maidubji returning to training after an injury layoff, DAILY POST reports.

The experienced defender has missed the majority of the club’s matches this season due to fitness concerns.

He last featured for Barau FC in their goalless draw against Kun Khalifat FC in a Matchday Two fixture in Owerri.

The captain’s return is expected to boost the squad, given his leadership and experience.

Barau FC will be hoping to have their skipper fully fit for selection in their next league outing as they seek to improve their position in the table.

The Kano-based club will face Rangers in a Matchday Eight fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.
