Euromatch NPFL: Katsina United floor Enyimba in six-goal thriller

Katsina United defeated Enyimba 4-2 in a thrilling Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday eight encounter at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium on Friday.

The defeat put an end to Enyimba’s three-game unbeaten streak.

Emeka Onyema put the ball into his own net after six minutes to give Katsina United the lead.

The hosts doubled their advantage through Mubarak Sani six minutes later.

Katsina United maintained their lead for the remainder of the first half.

Luis Dadong scored the Ikon Allah Boys’ third on the hour mark, while Chidera Michael reduced the deficit for Enyimba in the 67th minute.

Charles Egbe further cut the deficit in the 75th minute.

Katsina United however put the game beyond the visitors by netting the third through Umar Rabiu 10 minutes from time.
