Enyimba technical adviser Emmanuel Deutsch says his side’s pre-season work will be put to the test when they face Niger Tornadoes in their matchday one fixture.
The People’s Elephant will do battle with the Ikon Allah Boys at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna on Sunday.
Deutsch said the fans would have to wait to see the impact of the team’s preparations.
“Now we should wait and see what it will give tomorrow,” Deutsch stated in a pre-match interview.
“Because you can’t say, ‘I’m going to give a hundred per cent, I will do this, I will do that.’
“But having finished pre-season, we want to see what it gives us.
“If the pre-season is good, it will determine tomorrow. If the pre-season was not good, we will see what we can adjust.”
