Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo, has expressed frustration over his team’s wastefulness following their stalemate against Warri Wolves.
The Ikon Allah Boys missed several scoring chances in the clash.
Dogo said the technical crew will work to improve the team’s scoring ability after managing just one goal in their last three games.
“We scored four goals in our first two opening matches against Enyimba and Kano Pillars, making us believe we wouldn’t encounter goal-scoring challenges,” Dogo told the club’s media.
“But now, we have managed to score just once in three games, which is not encouraging. Since we have identified the challenge, we will work collectively as a team to solve the goal-scoring problem.”

Niger Tornadoes have recorded two draws and two defeats in their last four matches.
“We understand the frustration of our supporters, but equally call on them to exercise a little more patience with the team so as not to subject the young players in the team to too much pressure.
“This is just week five, with 33 more matches to play out of 38, so in my opinion, there is room for improvement, and it’s our responsibility as a team to work towards achieving the desired result,” he added.
