NPFL: Ezekiel makes Rivers United’s pledge after winning debut

Rivers United goalkeeper, Clinton Ezekiel, has expressed his commitment to helping the club achieve their target in this season.

Ezekiel made his debut for the Pride of Rivers in their opening game of the 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season against Plateau United.

Finidi George’s side won the encounter played at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium 2-0.

Ezekiel expressed his gratitude to the technical crew for the trust and support.

“I’m honoured to have made my debut for Rivers united and to contribute with a clean sheets,” Ezekiel reacted on X.

“I am grateful to God, the technical crew, my teammates, and the entire Rivers united family for the trust and support. This is only the beginning.

“I remain committed to working hard and giving my best for the club.”
