NPFL: Ikorodu City coach Ozebagbe happy with draw against Sporting Lagos

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Ikorodu City technical adviser Bright Ozebagbe has commended his players for their discipline and resilience in the draw against Sporting Lagos.

The Oga Boys held Sporting Lagos to a goalless draw in a rescheduled Matchday 2 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Wednesday.

Ozebagbe, however, admitted that his team failed to convert their chances in the game.

“We would have wrapped the game up in the first half. The boys played and were disciplined and resilient in the game,” Ozebagbe said after the game.

“We had those moments to convert and we didn’t convert, so we suffered for it.”

Ikorodu City will trade tackles with Rivers United in their next game this weekend.
