Nasarawa United captain, King Osanga, is optimistic on the chances of the team securing a favourable result in their matchday five clash against Kwara United.
The Solid Miners will be up against Kwara United at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium, Ilorin on Wednesday (today).
Osanga said that the players are determined to return to winning ways after the home draw with Rivers United last Sunday.
“It’s not always an easy game against Rivers United, unfortunately the draw wasn’t the result we wanted in our home, we are looking at bouncing back against Kwara United here in Ilorin,” Oganga told Toshsports.
“Kwara United will always have the advantage because they are playing in front of their supporters but we have our own plans and we are determined to get at least a point in the game.”
Osanga said the team is determined to improve on its performance from the last campaign.
“We all know how we started last season but in football there is always ups and downs. This season we want to better our performance and finish better than last season.”
