NPFL: River United remain focused despite unbeaten streak

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Rivers United captain, Stephen Manyo, says they are focused on achieving their goals this season.

The Pride of Rivers are unbeaten after seven league outings this season.

They have recorded four wins and three draws.

Manyo said that the players won’t be complacent despite the impressive start to the season.

“The spirit in the camp is good, the training session has been good as well as everybody is happy,” Manyo told Rivers United’s media.

“We are not losing focus we still have a long way to go.

“We haven’t won anything yet, our feet are on the ground, the coach have urged us to stay focused. We are ready for the next game.”

Rivers United will lock horns with Abia Warriors in their next league encounter this weekend in Umuahia.
