Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George, has said that there is enough quality in his team compared to last season.
Finidi said it was unfortunate that the quality failed to manifest during their CAF Champions League preliminary games.
He stressed that the players are beginning to exhibit their qualities in the league.
DAILY POST reports that Rivers United are yet to taste defeat in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.
The Pride of Rivers thrashed Kun Khalifat FC 5-0 in their last league fixture in Port Harcourt.
“The players that we signed this season are much better than last season, the quality in the squad is much better,” Finidi told Rivers United’s media.
“It was unfortunate that we couldn’t convert those chances and we were eliminated in the CAF Champions League.
“We are begining to get it right, I’m confident on the qualities of the players and hope they continue this way.”
