Both sides had opportunities to break the deadlock, but poor finishing denied them the chance to claim all three points.
The result extended Rivers United’s unbeaten run in the NPFL this season.
Finidi George’s men have now recorded three wins and two draws from their five matches, with a game in hand.
The Port Harcourt-based club moved into second place on the NPFL table with 11 points.
Rivers United will next face Katsina United away from home as they look to return to winning ways.
For Ranchers Bees, the draw saw them move from 15th to 11th position on the standings.
They will travel to Ilorin to take on Kwara United in their next fixture.
