NPFL: Sporting Lagos coach Buter extends contract

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Sporting Lagos have extended the contract of their head coach, Jeffery Buter, ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The club confirmed Buter’s contract extension on their X account.

Buter guided Sporting Lagos to promotion from the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.

He helped the Noisy Lagosians win the NNL title after finishing top at the playoff tournament in Ikenne.

Buter’s contract extension was in recognition of his hard work in guiding the team to the top-flight after two years absence.

Sporting Lagos will begin the new campaign with a clash against Doma United at the Patami Stadium on Sunday, 30 August.
