Aliyu Baba is set to sign a contract extension with Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Sporting Lagos, DAILY POST reports.
According to reports, Sporting Lagos are determined to keep their priced asset for the new campaign.
Baba played a key role in the modest club promotion back to the NPFL.
He netted 14 goals for the Sporting Lagos across two seasons.
Sporting Lagos announced the signing of midfielder Haruna Hadi on Tuesday to complement the impressive performance of the club last season.
The Lagos-based club are expected to welcome more new arrivals before the start of the 2026-27 season.
