NPFL: Suleiman reveals key to Kwara United’s victory over Nasarawa

Kwara United technical adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has commended his team’s defensive strength in win over Nasarawa United.

The Harmony Boys defeated Nasarawa United 2-1 at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium, Ilorin on Wednesday.

Sanni Muhammad gave Kwara United the lead early in the first half before Jofrank Istifanus equalised for the visitors.

Abdulsalam Abdulsalam, however, scored the winning goal for the home team.

Suleimon stated that his team took their chances in the matchday five encounter.

“Football is about moment, they have theirs and we also have ours, so that’s football,” Suleimon reacted in a chat with the media.

“We are happy with the result. We defended well as we responded quickly to the pressure to make sure we got the three points.”
