NPFL: Uzoho vows Kun Khalifat will recover from slow start

Kun Khalifat FC technical adviser, Obinna Uzoho, has promised to work on the lapses noticed in his team’s defeat against Bendel Insurance.

The Owerri-based club suffered a 3-1 loss to Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

Kun Khalifat FC are yet to record a win in the current campaign.

Uzoho is adamant that his team will improve despite a sloppy start to the new season.

“It was about work, it was about improvement,” Uzoho was quoted by NPFL media.

“And, perhaps most importantly, it was about remembering just how much football remains to be played.

“I’m going back home to make sure we put everything right. You know, this season has just started.”
