NPFL: Warri Wolves coach Abdallah reflects on difficult win over Kwara United

Warri Wolves technical adviser, Hassan Abdallah, has admitted that his team’s narrow win over Kwara United was difficult.

Eventus Itolowo’s lone strike gave Warri Wolves a 1-0 win over Kwara United in Ozoro.

Abdallah said his team were second best in the game.

He however commended his players’ determination and resilience to stop the firepower of the Harmony Boys.

“The game was very very difficult for us because we had planned to score an early goal which we did,” Abdallah told Raysports.

“But unfortunately Kwara United dominated the game after which we were defending but our perseverance and determination paid off and we succeeded with the victory.

“Its football sometimes you play well and loss but it’s better you don’t play well and win that’s Nigeria Football.”
