NPFL: Warri Wolves urged to bounce back from Rangers defeat

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Delta State Government has urged Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Warri Wolves to put behind them the 1-0 rescheduled Week Two defeat to Rangers.

The state Commissioner for Sports, Onoriode Oborevwori, gave the charge after the encounter at the Southern Delta University Stadium, Ozoro.

Oborevwori blamed poor officiating for the Seasiders’ defeat.

He urged the players to remain positive, regroup and focus on their next league fixture against Doma United.

“Please put the game behind you and focus on the next game against Doma United,” Oborevwori told the team.

“I believe in you guys. Your next match, I know you can do it. Let’s go and get the big three points.”
